Homes, Crafts & Gardens

The Homes, Crafts & Gardens Committee oversees one of the core aspects of GFWI offering workshops in a variety of different and interesting crafts, from the traditional to the not so traditional such as watercolour painting, painting on silk, making a bug house or a green man mask and much more. This committee ensures that members can develop existing skills and/or try something new to expand their creative skills and organises visits to places of interest such as stately homes, gardens and craft fairs.

From the more traditional knitting finishes workshop (see below) to the more exotic and unusual shibori techniques, there is something for everyone.

Courses that are coming up are listed on the 'Things To Do' tab - it is worth checking with WI House if the deadline has passed for applications - spare places may be possible or there might be a wait list.

If you have an idea for a course or event, please get in touch!
